How To Make Lace Closure Look Natural
1. Bleach knots
Lace closures almost always come with those unattractive knots or grids that look like black dots throughout. If you want a natural scalp appearance for your closure, you should bleach your knots to conceal these grids. Apply bleach to the lace on the bottom of the closure. Apply heat. After that, you will have a natural scalp appearance.
2. Tweeze your parting area
It is very likely that the parting area will have some of the hairs tweezed from it whether your closure is a freestyle closure or a pre-parted closure. You will see a noticeable difference when you think of a part made in your hair and look at a part made on a closure. The part on the closure is very likely to be a lot thinner than your own natural part.
3. Apply flesh colored stocking to your closure
In addition to bleaching knots, you can apply flesh colored stocking to your closure to ensure that your closure app is flawless! All you need is a piece of flesh colored stocking. You can sew or glue this stocking to the underside of the closure, further concealing any noticeable grids or knots.
4. Tint the lace if needed
Light brown lace can always be made darker, thus this color is usually the default color. So what do you do when your scalp is darker than light brown? You can tint the lace with fabric dye!
