What Is Silk Base Closure
Silk closure has a layer of silk which the individual strands of hair are embedded into the silk. You cannot see the knots on the silk closures because they are embedded in that layer. Conversely, you can see that it has a much more natural appearance. All you can see are the parting or the faux scalp or the scalp look. Again with both of these closures, you can part them anywhere. Part them down the middle, down the side. Throughout the entire base of the closure, you get freestyle parting. With silk closures, you don’t need to worry about bleaching the knots or anything like that. Silk closures are a bit more no muss, no fuss. You may have actually tint or dye the silk base so that it mimics your own natural scalp, depending on your scalp color with silk base closures. For a deeper complexion or a darker scalp color, you may go ahead and tint the silk by using tea bags or coffee, or you can go ahead and get the base color to mimic your scalp color by using a semi-permanent hair color. This is only thing you may have to do with silk closures.
