Select color. It is recommended to choose a color that goes well with your natural hair color, and choose a shade that no more than two shades lighter than your existing hair color.
Decide where your natural color and dye color will meet. It is recommended to choose a meeting point somewhere below the jaw line would be a great option.
Remove tangles by brushing hair.
Prepare yourself for hair coloring. It is recommended to wear an old T-shirt, vinyl, latex or rubber gloves.
Divide hair into 2-3 sections or more. You can tie hair that is close to the jaw line using elastic bands or hair clips.
Add color to hair. When preparing your dye, you should follow the instructions written on the hair dye boxes. Be sure to mix your dye in a room that is well ventilated. Add color to the color fade line by a brush. Apply a second heavier coat near the tips. Inspect strands to ensure that no spots are missed.
Let the color stay in hair for a few minutes (follow box instructions).
Rinse the dye with warm water and a sulfate-free shampoo to wash your hair. It is important to use a deep conditioner to add moisture back to your locks.
Dry and style your hair. Do not use hot tools. It is recommended to air dry hair.
