Have you ever used Remy Hair Extensions? What is Remy hair? Where does the hair come from?
What’s Remy Hair
Remy hair is gathered from the head of donors/producers. All hair strands stay aligned in the natural direction as it grew, top at top, and ends at ends. Remy hair remains softer and silkier. It is known for silky appearance and touch. Due to it’s origin, it will not become tangled.
Where Does Remy Hair Come From
Remy hair mostly comes from temples in India. Religious people make pilgrimages to temples such as the Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala, India, where they shave/tonsure their heads in a ritual of devotion. Hundreds of barbers shave a new person’s head every five minutes, leaving “bloody scalps and hair balls” all over the ground. The temple takes these strands, which can get up to 30 inches long, and sells them at auction.
Collect Remy hair. Send it to a nearby factory, and store it according to size. Number it. Put it into a bundle for observation. Put hair through the process of hackling where it is untangled and sorted into individual strands. Clean and condition hair to remove dirt and impurity. The deep conditioning helps hair maintain its virgin state. Dry it as soon as it is considered clean and silky.
Non-Remy hair easily becomes tangled because the upper and lower ends of the hair are mixed. Fortunately, we offer Remy Hair that is available as straight, curly, or a kinky curly hair weave. You can quickly find a suitable one.
